Romtelecom offers insurance to its residential customers in case of unemployment

Starting this week, Romtelecom offers to its residential customers the first service on the local telecommunications market which provides insurance in case of unemployment. 

Romtelecom offers free of charge the insurance in case of unemployment situations to any new residential customer for the activation of any Romtelecom service, Voice, Clicknet or Dolce. The insurance, offered in partnership with Astra, the biggest insurance company with Romanian majority capital, consists of subsidizing the subscriptions’ value of the Romtelecom services for a 6 months period in case of unemployment situations.

This insurance also offers coverage in cases of death or physic disabilities, no matter the cause, and is valid for one year since its activation.
Through this initiative Romtelecom wants to offer its clients a higher safety level and an increased financial comfort in the context of the current economic crisis.
To benefit of the insurance coverage, the customer has to provide to the Astra representatives the written evidence issued by the Unemployment Office from the sector or county where it resides.
