Romtelecom launches voice subscriptions with minutes included and double speed MetroNET promo for its business services

Starting today, March 23, Romtelecom adds to its portfolio new voice subscriptions for the business segment with up to 1,000 minutes included, which can be used for calling any national fixed network, at anytime.

The 5 new subscriptions are designed for both existing and new clients of Romtelecom, especially from the small and medium range of companies. The number of included minutes within the Voice Business subscriptions varies from 200 to 1,000 as following: Voice Business 200, 300, 500, 800, respectively 1000. For calls made after finishing the included minutes, a flat tariff of 2.7 eurocents per minute is applied for all calls within national fixed networks. The tariffs for international calls start from 9.9 eurocents per minute, while the calls towards mobile national networks are charged with 13.5 eurocents per minute. The monthly subscriptions vary between 12 and 24 euro, while the installation fee will be fully discounted (100%). All voice subscriptions with included minutes benefit of free of charge standard SLA (Service Level Agreement that guarantees the functionality of Romtelecom services within agreed parameters). The prices do not include VAT.

Also starting today until June 23 2009, Romtelecom offers to the new customers of the MetroNET service double bandwidth than the contracted one for internet access for 3, 6 or 9 months, depending on the contractual period (1, 2 or 3 years). MetroNET is a premium Internet service that provides symmetrical bandwidth up to 50 Mbps and addresses mainly large companies and corporations.

MetroNET has one of the biggest dynamics within Romtelecom portfolio, with approximately 400% increase in the number of customers in 2008. In terms of voice services, Romtelecom registered in 2008 a 97% increase in net additions compared to the previous year.

In the last two years the company extended the range of services and packages offered for the business segment, with more than 60 new offers, promotions and products launched since the introduction of Customer 1st in May 2007.
