The lowest prices on the market brought by Voce Online, Romtelecom's new PC2Phone telephony service

Starting this week anybody interested can make very cheap PC to Phone calls (fixed, mobile and international destinations) using Romtelecom’s VoIP service “Voce Online” which offers the lowest tariffs on the market. Voce Online is an exceptional offer for Romanians living abroad whom can now call their relatives in the country at the lowest prices ever, up to four times cheaper than other PC2Phone services.

Voce Online is available to any person in Romania or abroad, regardless if a Romtelecom customer or not.

The service is launched in “Beta” version and comes with a special “try it” promo for all customers who sign up before January 15th: 3 Euros free, unconditional calling credit.

The 3 Euros free calling credit credit can be used for calling more than 250 minutes to Romtelecom numbers, 150 minutes to other fixed Romanian networks or 120 minutes to international destinations (fixed in EU or fixed or mobile to USA or Canada). Once the credit is used, the credit associated to the VoIP account can be re-charged “prepaid”, via credit or debit card.

The postpaid VoIP offer, previously available to Clicknet subscribers has also been automatically upgraded to the new low Voce Online tariff plan.
Voce Online call rates are (VAT excluded): 1 eurocent/minute to Romtelecom numbers, 1.5 eurocent/minute to other national fixed numbers, starting from 2 eurocent/minute to international numbers, and 7 eurocents/minute to national mobile numbers. The SMS tariff is 4.5 eurocents/SMS, VAT excluded. The calls between the Voce Online users are free of charge.

The prepaid customers can use the service by logging in onto voceonline.romtelecom.ro and using the easy to use “in-browser” flash phone available on the same page or any SIP compatible softphone or IP hardware phone.

VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is a technology which delivers voice communications over IP networks, as an alternative to traditional voice. The service assumes the customer’s usage of internet services and consequently of computers or other devices connected to the internet.
