Romtelecom continues the offensive on the business market and opens a new Call Center in Brasov
Romtelecom officially opened today a new Call Center dedicated to the business clients from the SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) segment.
The operator invested more than 1 million euro in the Call Center which will promote nationwide commercial services to existing or possible Romtelecom clients. The Call Center became operational in August and, up to now, about 1 out of 5 contacted clients accepted the new offers made by the agents of the Call Center, a rate which is 35% higher than the industry average.
The Call Center has a commercial function, of promoting services to the customers, advise them on the best suited solutions for their needs of acquiring additional services through a simple call. The general business market addressed by the agents is estimated at about 250,000 active companies.
“It is for the first time when Romtelecom takes pro-active actions to answer its clients’ needs and goes directly to the clients with its offers, instead of expecting them to come to us. Our agents will also supervise the services’ installation process and will rapidly announce the clients about the stage of their requests. The results we have so far show us this is the right direction,” stated Yorgos Ioannidis, CEO Romtelecom.
The Call Center is located in Brasov and will be reached by dialing 0800 800 901 (free of charge call in the Romtelecom network).
“We understand that our business clients need the best services and customer care from us, as a provider, and we did our best in the past year and a half to come closer to their needs.
Customer interaction is of capital importance when it comes to businesses who rely on communication services for development. Last year we brought down the response time in our call centers dedicated to business customers to about 20 seconds, now we are setting up a call center to advise our customers and guide them to choose the best suited services from our offer. And we have a lot to offer, having launched close to 20 products only in 2008,” stated George Makowski, Chief Commercial Officer for the business segment.
Romtelecom is the only provider on the local market offering free of charge to its business clients the standard service level agreement (SLA) for its voice services. Romtelecom is now the market’s leader for Internet access for business segment, after exceeding 100,000 customers for its Clicknet Business product.
The latest promotion launched for business customers allows them to benefit of a laptop for each Mbps of Premium Internet access acquired, for each connection. The new offer is available for all business clients who conclude contracts of at least 2 years, between September 15 and December 15. The offer applies to the Premium Internet services, IPFix Ultra 1and 2 Mbps and MetroNET from 1 to 50Mbps. Customers will benefit this way from contractual guaranteed bandwidth, equal independent and symmetrical upload and download channels as well as prioritized traffic within the Romtelecom network. Therefore the customers can get up to 50 laptops for each of their connections. The laptops provided are Fujitsu Siemens branded, and have Intel Pentium Dual Core processor and 2 GB RAM memory.
