All phone lines again fully working in Timişoara
The voice services were re-established for all the 25,000 Romtelecom clients affected by the fire started this week, on Wednesday night, at the Romtelecom headquarters in Timisoara.
After 24 hours of continuous work of Romtelecom teams, all telecommunications equipments were re-established as of last night, 22:30 hours. It is worth mentioning that during this period the broadband Internet services, as well as the digital television services provided by Romtelecom functioned normally.
According to the report issued after the independent investigation of the Crisis Situations Inspectorate, the cause of the fire was set to be a short circuit from an air conditioner installed in one of the company’s offices.
