With the new ClickNet offer, Romtelecom encourages the usage of broadband Internet in Romania
Both residential and business clients who subscribe to ClickNet starting today until the end of December 2007, benefit of lifetime discounts, of up to 50% to the monthly subscriptions, of up to 6 months free of charge usage or even of a computer for free.
The new ClickNet offer allows the residential or business clients to choose a desktop, respectively a laptop, offered in the same package with a ClickNet 3 Mbps, respectively 6 Mbps subscriptions. Besides, the clients also receive a 20% discount to the monthly subscription from the price list, for the whole duration of the contract. The clients who choose this option for subscribing to ClickNet 3 Mbps will pay 20 Euro/month (VAT excluded), respectively 39 Euro/month for ClickNet 6 Mbps.
Those clients who purchase one of the subscriptions for ClickNet 1 Mbps, 3 Mbps, respectively 6 Mbps, during October 29 – December 31 2007, get a 50% decrease to the subscription from the price list for the entire period of the contract. Additionally, the clients will not pay the monthly subscription for 3 months, in case of 1 year contracts, and for 6 months, in case of 2 and 3 years contracts; after these intervals the 50% reduction compared to the price lists is applicable. Thus, the ClickNet subscriptions, under this promotion, vary between 7.5 and 24.5 Euro, VAT excluded, in accordance with the speed

The business clients which choose one of the BizPack products, depending on the contract’s duration, will also benefit of a free of charge Wi-Fi modem for 2 or 3-year contracts. The modem can be purchased at half price for 1 year contracts. The promotional offers for the 4 BizPack packages offered by Romtelecom, start from 23 Euro/month (VAT excluded) and reach up to 92 Euro/month (VAT excluded). The BizPack packages offer discounts for the Internet subscription, special tariffs to mobile, up to 4000 national minutes included, which can be used anytime in Romtelecom network, but also a web hosting solution which includes a 50 MB domain.ro, and 10 e-mail addresses in the respective domain, with a total space of 250 MB.
In the last two years, the speeds for the ClickNet products were increased twice, the current maximum speed reaching 6 Mbps. Also, during this period, tariffs decreased over 10 times, the most accessible tariff starting from 7.5 Euro/month (VAT excluded). In October 2007, Romtelecom reported over 260.000 clients for ADSL based broadband services, over 2.5 times more, compared with the end of 2006.
