Subscriptions at half price for fixed telephony and free minutes for calls to mobile networks
Beginning with November 1, the new subscription Confort 50 Mobil offers 50 free minutes in any mobile telephony network from Romania. Subscriptions reduced by 50% for a period of up to 1 year, free of charge voice options and detailed invoices are offered between November 1, 2007 and January 31, 2008, to all new Romtelecom fixed telephony clients who choose one of the subscriptions with minutes included.
Residential clients who want to subscribe, starting with November 1, to Confort 50, Confort 200, Confort Unlimited or Confort 50 Mobil benefit of a reduction of 50% to the subscription for a 6 months period in case of the 1 year contracts, or 1 year reduction for the contracts signed for 2 years. Moreover, the clients can choose a voice option which is offered free of charge for a period of 6 months, respectively 1 year, depending on the duration of the contract, and receive detailed invoices, without any supplementary taxes, for the same periods of time. The instalment of the phone line is free of charge. The clients who sign a 2 years contract also receive free of charge a DECT phone.
Of these facilities benefit also the new clients who choose Confort 50 Mobil, a new subscription which, during the promotion, can be acquired with 6.15 Euro/month (VAT excluded). Confort Mobil 50 offers 50 free minutes in any mobile telephony network in Romania, which can be used for calls to mobile at any hour, and free unlimited calls to any national fixed telephony network, between 6 PM and 8 AM, during the weekends and legal holydays.
"This is the logical extent of the tariff schemes we launched this year: free calls in our network, free calls to other fixed telephony operators and now more free minutes towards mobile operators. This new calling plan addresses now specifically the need for our customers who call more in the mobile networks. Of course all the benefits of free calls in the afternoon, after 6 pm, and in the weekends and holidays are also applied to them. This is an additional opportunity for our customers to actively save money by using the fixed line from home”, declared Joerg Zeddies, Chief Commercial Officer, Residential Segment.
In order to benefit of preferential tariffs for calls to mobile even after the 50 free minutes are used, the clients can choose the option “Favourite mobile network”. This allows them to make cheaper calls by 33%, compared to the price list, to the respective network, at a tariff of 0.09 Euro/minute (VAT excluded). In order to have reduced tariffs for calls to all national mobile networks, the client with a Confort 50 Mobil can add to his subscription several such options. “Favourite mobile network” option is available for 1 Euro/month (VAT excluded) and it is not compatible with the FixMobil, FixMobil Light, FixMobil Plus, FixMobil 30, FixMobil 60 options.
Confort 50 Mobil is available both for new clients who choose the fixed telephony service from Romtelecom, and for the existing clients of the company who presently have other type of subscription and are willing to benefit of the new one. These can ask for a free of charge transfer to Confort 50 Mobil, by calling 930, free of charge, from Romtelecom network.
