Romtelecom offers up to 63% lower tariffs for international calls
Romtelecom starts 2007 with good news for residential clients. Within January-March 2007, Romtelecom clients will talk abroad for less than the usual price, only with 8 Eurocents by minute, VAT excluded, regardless of the hour and call duration.
All clients who want to talk on fixed networks within any of the European Union states, in Switzerland, Island, Israel, and Norway, benefit of the promotional tariff. The same 8 Eurocents tariff per minute is valid for residential clients who want to talk on fixed or mobile network in Canada and USA (including Alaska, Hawaii, and the American Virgin Islands).
Residential Romtelecom clients can benefit free of charge of this tariff discount up to 63% for international calls. During the promotion, the clients who want to call the fixed networks in Germany, Italy, France or Spain – the most requested call destinations in Europe – will pay 14 Eurocents less than the regular tariff for these calls on business hours.
For Romtelecom residential clients who already benefit of the discounted options for International (International 1, World 10 or World), the 20% discount, respectively 10% offered with the respective option is applied for the promotional tariff of 8 Eurocents per minute, VAT excluded.
This promotional tariff is valid only for automated international calls with access code 00, to any of the destinations mentioned above. The promotion is not valid for residential clients connected to analogue exchanges, for clients who use Vocenet+ service for international calls and for those who call abroad, placing the call with an operator, calling International Call Service - 971.

By International 1, World, and World 10 options, Romtelecom offers discounts for international calls for residential clients, on a monthly subscription basis. International 1 option offers the clients a 20% discount for calls to a single international area, and World option offers the same discount for calls to all international areas (except for satellite calls). With World 10 option, the discount is of 10% for all international areas (except for satellite calls).
