Romtelecom awarded for 2006 ADSL offensive
Tuesday, February 27, 2007, Romtelecom was awarded for the 2006 ADSL broadband access offensive, at the 4th edition of e-Finance Awards Gala.
“We shall make every effort to offer the best communication services to Romanian clients and we strive to be leaders in the broadband Internet era”, Yorgos Ioannidis, Romtelecom CEO said when handed the prize.
e-Telecom section, on which Romtelecom was awarded, looks every year to reward the most useful communication service for business and residentials, as the organizer FINMEDIA mentioned. As part of 2006 e-Telecom section, beside Romtelecom, Vodafone Romania was awarded for launching the 3,5G service and also Orange Romania, for the launch of its 3G service. The e-Finance editorial office decided the nominees by poll.
e-Finance awards are granted for major performances of the main players on Romanian financial-banking and IT&C market in 2006 (key organizations, products and services, software solutions, management, communication with the media, etc).
