Romtelecom warns its clients to avoid those trying to use the company's name for frauds

During the last days, several Romtelecom clients informed the company that unknown persons, recommended as Romtelecom employees, tried to deceive them, acknowledging that they can win important prizes if they purchase pre-paid cards and send their codes.

Calls reporting child abuse are doubled on the Child Line 0800 8 200 200, a service offered free-of-charge by Romtelecom

The national promotion campaign for the Child Line 0800 8 200 200 in schools, high schools and foster care centers, the Green Line for Child Protection Association, in partnership with Romtelecom developed during October 2006 - July 2007, significantly increased the calls of both adults and children reporting child abuse situations. During this period, about 22 000 calls were registered, among which 756 cases needed the immediate intervention of institutions in charge.

Romtelecom - no. 1 in voice services quality on the Romanian market

Romtelecom obtained the highest score in quality evaluation for voice signal transmission according to the latest studies performed by INSCC Bucharest (National Communications Research Institute). The researches, done based on Telecommunication Union (UIT) standards, indicated that, within Romtelecom network, the call quality reaches 96.9, equivalent with the standard of excellent quality.
