Stefanos Theocharopoulos - CEO

Mr. Stefanos Theocharopoulos was appointed Romtelecom CEO in July 2011. He is also COSMOTE Romania CEO since January 2008.

Mr. Stefanos Theocharopoulos joined OTE Group in 2002, holding the position of OTEGlobe Business Development Executive Director since September 2006. He has also worked as Executive Technology Director of OTE Investment Services. He is the Chairman of Hellas-Sat BoD and a member of COSMOTE Romania BoD, while he has also held BoD positions in Armentel & OTE Sat Maritel.

Prior to OTE Group, Mr. Theocharopoulos held managerial positions in a number of companies, such as  O2 in Germany, Dutchtone in the Netherlands, Vodafone in Greece, Fujitsu Telecom Research Center in the U.K. and Ericsson Hellas.

He holds a BEng in Electronic Engineer from Sussex University as well as a M.Sc. in Mobile & Satellite Communications from the University of Westminster.
