Bob Konstantinidis - Chief Technology and Operations Officer

Mr. Bob Konstantinidis has over 25 years experience in Telecommunication and IT related areas. He joined Romtelecom in 2008 as Chief Implementation Officer and since July 2011 he is acting as the Chief Technology and Operations Officer.

He started his career in the USA in 1982, working for multi-national companies including AT&T Network Systems and IBM. In AT&T he was responsible for the implementation and support of large networks and corporate data centers, while in IBM he was part of the initial team to establish IBM Professional Services in the Chicago area.

After moving to Greece he became the Operations manager for Rank-Xerox before joining the initial team of Vodafone - Panafon in 1993. During his 13 years with Vodafone – Panafon he held various high level executive positions and his responsibilities included Radio Base Stations and Mobile Telephone Exchanges acquisition, construction, implementation, operation and maintenance and support for the largest privately own mobile network,  corporate office buildings acquisition, construction and maintenance, customer care  and  logistics. He assisted in the network setup in Egypt, Holland and Albania and represented Greece in the Vodafone’s Global operations strategy group. Before being appointed as Chief Implementation Officer within Romtelecom, Mr. Bob Konstantinidis held the General Manager position for Teledrom Hellas, an important Ericsson partner in Greece.
