The Home Country Direct (HCD) service is a reverse-billed, inbound calling service provided from Romania to the destination country. HCD calls from Romania will be translated by the Intelligent Network (IN) into an international routing number as indicated by the terminating carrier, on a number-by-number basis, and they will be directly routed to the specified International Service Carrier (ISC) in the destination country.
The aim of the service is to provide international telecom companies' customers with access to their destination country, while travelling within Romania.
