Internet Broadband service is part of Virtual ISP products family, developed with the purpose to give the ISPs the ability to offer their customers good value, flat-rate Internet access services at speeds up to 2Mbps

Internet Broadband provides premium Internet access service through a separate digital leased line connecting the end user’s location to Romtelecom closest POP.
The Internet Broadband is one of the top Internet access products, the quality of service being carefully controlled through traffic prioritization inside core network.

The access line is equipped with a router and a DSL modem (the router might have the DSL modem incorporated) supplied by Romtelecom as part of the service. Romtelecom also provides the installation, configuration and operation of the router. The equipments (router, modem) remain in Romtelecom property, following that the customer returns them by end of contractual period. The customer has the usage right during the contract term.

The IP addresses allocated (public and static) allow the implementation of different applications such as: own WEB server, own e-mail server, IP telephony, video telephony.

There is a large choice service bandwidth options: 192 kbps, 256 kbps, 384 kbps, 512 kbps, 768 kbps, 1024 kbps, 2048 kbps. Other intermediate bandwidths are available on demand.

• IP address reallocation – Romtelecom can re-allocate supplementary IP subnets, of 8 or 16 addresses, in order to cover customer’s needs
