Do you want to port your number or numbers of your business to Romtelecom?

From the moment you switch to Romtelecom, you calls will be charged normally, depending on the destination. Check here if your number can be switched to Romtelecom network. Portability is a simple process and will only take a few steps:

Step 1

Fill in the porting application form available on Romtelecom website or you can get it from a Romtelecom sales representative.

Step 2

Attach the following documents to the porting application:

  • Your last invoice from the current telephony provider;
  • Copy of your ID card;
  • Letter of empowerment as your company’s representative;
  • Copy of your company’s documents.

Step 3

The Porting application form, together with documents from step 2 may be handed-over in any Romtelecom shop, or you may send them by fax, at 925 (local prefix number) or you can hand them over to one of Romtelecom sales representatives.

Step 4

Romtelecom will communicate you the exact date of you switch to Romtelecom network. In general, porting your number/numbers will not take longer than 10 working days. If you want to extend this interval (up to 30 working days), please request this when you hand-over or send the porting application form.

Step 5

Within maximum 5 hours since the day and time communicated by Romtelecom, the transfer of the phone connection from your old operator will be done, while keeping the phone number/numbers requested to be ported. This is the beginning of the collaboration with your new telecom services provider, Romtelecom.
