Push-to-Talk (PTT) it's a professional communication service, that offers dispatch and mobile voice services. This innovative new service will satisfy your external and more important, your internal communication need –between your employees. Through a dedicated mobile terminal, by pressing one button the connection with all group members is established, without having to wait for the connection setup (tone), like in the case of traditional mobile voice services.

Services offered:

  • Group Calls – Free and Unlimited: The conversation takes place between the group users. It is a half-duplex call, where a single user can speak at one time. The user selects the group from the telephone memory, push the PTT button and the connection is being established;
  • Private Group Call – Free and Unlimited: is a one-to-one call (half-duplex) conversation, where only one person can speak at one time. To initiate a call a user has only to press the PTT key, without having to wait for the call completion;
  • Broadcasting Group Call – Free and Unlimited: is a one-to-many call, where only the caller is allowed to speak;
  • Emergency Group Call – Free and Unlimited: it is the highest priority PTT call that can forcibly release the subscriber who is busy in the other call by directly pressing the emergency button. The originator has 30s of speaking time without pressing the PTT button. This type of call is initiated by simply pushing the "Emergency" button.

Supplimnetary services:

  • Group Management: The groups are administered via a web interface where groups can be defined, users can be added or delete from a group, and privileges can be set for every user based on his role in the group. The settings are received in real time through the CDMA network, without using a cable, like in the case of other mobile terminals. The access to this interface is made by using a username/password;
  • Dynamic Regrouping: The system admin can configure multiple scenarios for group call, group dynamic reconfiguration, add/delete users;
  • Calls prioritizations: different priorities to the users can be set, through the group management console;
  • User status checking.

The fleet members will communication instantly and without time restrictions between other fleet members, by a push of a button. Also, besides the PTT component, the service offers traditional mobile voice services. The fleet management is being done through a dedicated web interface. Through this interface the admin can add/delete groups and members from a group(s), roles and responsibilities can be set.
