Audioconferinta

Audioconference is the service which offers the possibility to connect a specified number of participants to the same telephone conversation, using the commuted telephone network. A number of remote participants, in different locations, may be connected (by a Romtelecom operator) and may communicate simultaneously through the commuted telephone network.

Through this type of service, the operator has the possibility to establish simultaneous connections with several participants using the digital mixing of individual channels.
The maximum number of participants to an audio conference, who may be located anywhere, is 54. This number can be divided in maximum 2 audio conferences of maximum 28 participants each, which supposes that, within the limit of the mentioned number of participants, one or two audio conferences may take place at the same time.
All the terminal equipment is owned by the client and shall not be made available by Romtelecom.
The basic functionality of the service consists in making a simultaneous telephone communication between the participants to the conference. Calls are bidirected, which means that each participant may listen and talk whenever he/she desires to intervene in the conversation.

Hourly ranges for Dial-In:

  • Monday - Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
  • Saturday and Sunday: 08:00 – 16:00

Additional functionalities:

  • generation of call reports;
  • consultation call - the conference call can be put on hold in case the initiation of a new call is wished (consultation call).
