Technologies

Romtelecom provides digital television services using two signal transmission technologies: IP TV and DTH. DTH technology provides a signal reception nationwide in Romania.

IPTV - television services are delivered based on IP (Internet Protocol) technology as opposed to by other means. Finally, you have the ability to have complete control over your TV with Dolce Interactiv from Romtelecom. Special features include being able to fast forward, rewind and access your ‘library’ at any time with all sound and images being of a high quality.

HD channels – the optical fiber network and connection are compatible with High Definition television
Digital sound- the Set Top Boxes have SPDIF output (Sony/Philips Digital Interconnect format) making them compatible with the most advanced equipment used for TV signal reception and distribution
