You are in the center of our concerns. Through the "Client on the first place" program, started some time ago, we want to prove to you this fact.
We help you to understand more easily the main information presented by the bill, by means of the examples presented in this section. An exchange rate of EUR 1 = RON 3.2 was chosen. The information about the analyzed client is fictitious.
FIRST PAGE OF THE bill
The information herein was reorganized for your easier identification.
- Invoicing period
The conversations (consumption) in the bill took place in the interval mentioned here, interval comprised between the two invoicing data.
- Subscriptions
IT IS SIMPLE! We regrouped subscriptions in three categories: telephony, Internet and data and service packages (combinations of the first two categories). The client in our example has two types of subscriptions.
- Conversations
IT IS SIMPLE! Your conversations were regrouped on this line. They are detailed in the annex.
- Total payable amount
Here you can see the payable amount and the date up to which you have to pay it.
ANNEX TO THE bill
As of this moment, you receive, automatically and free of charge, the new annex to the bill. It presents in detail all the columns in the current bill (respectively those on the first page, above the "Total current bill" line), and its role is to explain you the manner to calculate the amounts that appear here.
In particular, to understand the manner to calculate the amount specified in the bill under the "Conversations" column, you shall identify in the annex all the columns having this title and shall sum up the values appearing on such lines.
EXAMPLE! In the case analyzed by us, there are conversations made by the first telephone line, amounting to RON 63.72, and conversations made by the second telephone line amounting to RON 68.65; summing them up, it results RON 132.37, which value corresponds to the value on the first page, opposite to the "Conversations" column.
- Services at an account level
Here you can find a series of services or taxes regarding the "client account", i.e. related to the entire bill. Examples: subscription for the detailed bill, different adjustments, potential penalties for late payment.
TRANSPARENT! If your bill includes penalties, you may explicitly see their calculation manner: the series and number of the bill for which they were charged, the date on which you paid it, the number of outstanding days, etc
- Table of units
TRANSPARENT! In case you have subscriptions with included minutes, you can see the situation of your minutes in this table: the number of minutes included by such subscription and the number of consumed minutes. Thus, you have a full picture of the manner in which you manage your minutes and you can choose the services that best suit you.
EXAMPLE! If your minutes are granted for all the company's telephone lines (included in the same bill), then this table is in the account service area, as we can see here.
- Period
NEW! Here you can see the exact period for which a certain subscription is charged. This information is especially useful for the case in which you make a subscription change or activate a service on a date which does not coincide with the invoicing date (as in the case of the analyzed client).
- Duration
NEW! For each category of conversations you can see the duration.
- Total payable amount for each telephone line
CLEARLY! Now you can easily identify the total payable amount for each of your company's telephone lines.
- Total payable amount for service packages
CLEARLY! Now you can monitor the amount you allocate to service packages
NEW! Equipment installments or debt installments
We thought you would like to be reminded the reason for which you pay certain installments, especially since they can be spread over a longer time period. For this reason, we chose to resume such information in the annex, under "Total current bill".
DETAILED bill
Until now, the detailed bill existed in two versions: the complete detailed bill and the partial detailed bill, only including non-local calls.
From now on, the detailed bill is available in a single format: it includes all the made conversations and supposes a monthly tax of EUR 1, exclusive of VAT (full detailed bill).
We made this change in order to treat in a unitary manner the requests of our clients as to the detailed bill. At the same time, as the main benefit of this program, the annex to the bill is now offered to all clients, automatically and free of charge, with much more information than before.
IT'S SIMPLE! We entered the name of the day, in order to identify your conversations more easily.
- Consumption Type
TRANSPARENT! Now, each conversation for which you benefit from a discount is marked accordingly. Thus, on the "Consumption Type" column you can see the name of the service giving you the discount for that conversation. In certain cases, the "Cost" column does not specify the final conversation cost, and the given discount may be seen in the annex.
If your conversation does not benefit from a discount, on this column you can see the call destination (destination which, in fact, you can identify by checking the called number).
- A conversation with several charging types
CLEARLY! You may start a conversation at a peak hour and end it outside peak hours (and the other way around). In this case, the conversation is charged with a certain tariff for the first fragment (during peak hours) and with another tariff for the second fragment (outside peak hours). The new bill shall reflect the charging of the conversation per fragments, as per this example; the second fragment is marked with the "#" symbol.
Why did you change the bill?
We wanted to provide you with a clearer, simpler, more transparent bill. Now you receive more information than before, which can help you to easily understand the manner in which you were charged for the used Romtelecom services. This is just a step in the continuous change process in which we engaged. Your opinions and suggestions shall help us to improve, in a future stage, the bill for Romtelecom services.
Why do you now also offer me the annex to the bill?
The annex to the bill is indispensable for understanding the manner in which the amounts on the first page of your bill were calculated. It gives you concrete details about: the duration of each category of conversations, the period for which subscriptions are charged, the manner in which you consumed the minutes included in your subscriptions and options, the manner to calculate the penalties for the failure to pay (if applicable), etc.
What is the reason for which I no longer receive the detailed non-local bill?
The detailed bill is now available in a single format which contains all the made calls, includes more information than before and supposes a monthly tax of EUR 1 (exclusive of VAT). The detailed non-local bill is no longer offered because it contained partial information, insufficient for the full understanding of your conversation charging. At the same time, the main benefit of the "New Romtelecom bill” program is the free of charge offering of the new annex to all our clients.
