BizCAM

Romtelecom Business Solutions provides you the BizCAM service, available through an IP camera, the equipment being offered in your custody. The IP camera installation is accompanied by the necessary wiring to connect with your equipment (switches, routers).

You can view the images supplied by the camera / cameras via the web interface: www.bluecam.ro. After authentication, the web interface contains the list of you locations and the IP cameras divided by each location, their status (whether active or not).

IP cameras manufacturer attesting, through a certificate, that Romtelecom has no access to the your video and audio stream. Romtelecom has only access to settings related to the maximum possible video quality according to the Internet subscription type of location and to reset the passwords if they are forgotten.

IP surveillance solution has the following components:

1. The Portal http://www.bizcam.ro
Through the web portal, after authenticating with the user name and password, you can survey centralized all installed equipment as a service, divided by location. These can be accessed by simply pressing the button with the name of that camera (with the possibility of modifying the name). IP camera button contains also the status of the camera (online / offline). After the second authentication on the IP camera you can view the video stream (ROMTELECOM not have access to audio and video stream of cameras installed on the client).

2. IP Camera
IP camera is indoor equipment, IP with Pan / Tilt features and night vision capabilities, even in the total absence of any light sources. Is accompanied by software that can control multiple cameras simultaneously.
IP cameras have the following specifications:

• Mobility Pan / Tilt (you can change camera position remotely: up and down, left and right);
• M-JPEG and H.264 compression for optimizing the Internet connection;
• Movement Detection;
• Possibility to record video and audio;
• Maximum video resolution 640x480 @ 30fps;
• Dual streaming (allows simultaneous access by mobile phone and PC);
• Night vision 0 Lux;
• 5m power cord;

Supported operating systems: Microsoft Windows 98/2000/Xp/Vista, Mac / using an IE browser, Safari, Firefox.

3. Installation
Installing the service is free of charge and will be made by ROMTELECOM specialists:

• Cabling using up to 24m PVC Cat 5E UTP and 22m cable duct;
• Client agrees to provide a 220V outlet within 5m from the camera location;
• IP interiors are only for indoor use;

4. Service limitations
This service addressing all business with connectivity to Romtelecom. BizCAM service is not a security service and do not fall under the law 333/2003.
